Have you been finding pennies, dimes, and small coins?

Did you and a loved one decide on a sign they would use to visit you, and now once crossed over, you have started spotting pennies everywhere?

One of the most common signs that our deceased loved ones are visiting is the use of small signs and symbols.

Pennies and dimes hold spiritual significance, so they are a famous sign sent from those in the afterlife. 

More than just a popular song from the 1930s, Pennies from Heaven are a real thing, and in this post, we'll get into why. 

When your loved one crosses over, they want nothing more than to let you know they are okay, watching over you, and that they love you.

Often, they even want to send you small, signs, symbols and cues, to let you know and also point you in the 'right' direction of something to focus on in the future of your path.

Your loved one is now in Spirit, existing as energy, may become experimental soon after they pass. It's normal for a loved one to start testing the waters in the many ways they can visit and communicate with you even within the first ten days of their passing.

They may attempt visitation dreams, find a way to be in your presence and sensed by you, mess with the electricity, send you birds and animals, or even try to kiss you, brush your cheek and hug you.

You may feel all these sensations.

They can also get your attention by placing an object in your path or nudging a person to drop the object.

Why Spirits send signs as coins

Spirit prefers objects that are easy to move. Light enough to blow on, such as a feather, a coin, or a nail on a wall. Something little enough to notice, but easy enough for them to move. 

Coins are something you usually see out and about, and they are also easy to spot with a dash of sunlight, so they make a good sign.

While materializing an object in your path might be considered impossible, in some circles, it is not.

A physical item appearing in your path is called an apport. 

An apport is technically a materialization of an object out of thin air. While this might be difficult for some Spirits to create, it's also not the only way a coin can be a visitation method.

A Spirit can create a small gust of wind, causing a coin to drop from someone's hand, or to slide a coin from one location/surface to another using energy. 

Them being shiny, plus the above, makes coins an ideal physical object to get you to take notice. It also makes for a popular sign for urban areas, due to the abundance of it.

Being that money is one of the main ways that humans communicate value to each other, money is also a preferred Spirit communication.

We exchange money for work, money for goods, money for services, and even money for time.

We are always expressing what we care about, what we value, in the form of providing the gift of currency.

So The Spirit World takes note of that and mimics this. 

When your loved one visits you by sending small coins to appear in your path, the significance and symbolism are that you are highly valued.

While all coins and currency could be signs, the most common is the currency in the rates of "1s" or "10s,' as pennies and dimes. 

Why pennies and dimes?

Pennies and dimes are symbolic of a few spiritual principles, and the messages they send are significant. 

Pennies

With pennies, the meaning of number 1 is significant.

One symbolizes the human body, and the human Spirit is, in essence, the same being.

The number one also symbolizes unity, new beginnings, and uniqueness of being. 

Seeing pennies can be a symbolic reminder that there is unity, a new beginning in the afterlife, and a oneness with yourself and your loved one visiting you.

The spiritual symbolism of penny signs and number one is also usually associated with these ideas:

• Oneness

• One God

• One Spirit

• One Body

• One Spirit United

The number one can also symbolize a fresh start.

Pennies could indicate your new awareness of the synchronicity of the universe and a new connection to the Divine.

Dimes

If you've seen dimes rather than pennies, you might find significance in the symbolic meaning of the number ten. This number is the number of completion, the return to the source of all single digits - one (1 + 0 = 1).

The number 10 can also refer to sky and Heaven, universal creation, the highest integrity, a return to unity, to completeness.

As the number of complete and total absolute perfection, dimes and the number ten also symbolizes:

• A synthesis of being and nonbeing - one and zero

• A unity of oneness and the perfect circle of infinity

• The continuation and completion of all things

Seeing dimes in your path can be symbolic of Spirit wanting to remind you of the infinite loop of all things, such as the cycle of life, and the continuation of energy.

As with all signs, if you see coins a repeating number of times, such as finding three pennies in a row, this is more likely a sign.

Seeing coins after the passing of your loved one could be a sign. 

Coins are a sign that you are valued, there is oneness in the afterlife, and there is a continuation of the Spirit of your loved one.

Now that you know there could be a spiritual significance in finding pennies, the next most common question people have is:

Who are the coins from?

When you get a bunch of signs, such as you are repeatedly seeing dimes, ask internally or externally, who is sending them. 

Typically, the first answer that comes to mind is the right one. It's usually a loved one, but it could be an Angel or a Spirit Guide. 

Pennies and dimes from Heaven can also indicate blessings are coming from The Spirit World as a whole, so when some people see them, they like to thank all their Angels.
