Psychic Abilities Lost: Can Your Intuition Fail You?

Can you lose psychic gifts? In this post, I discuss -
During periods of immense physical world growth your natural intuitive abilities can feel like they begin to fade. This happens to everyone and is completely natural. A major physical world life transition is the most common reason for intuitive abilities to go seemingly lost.
Huge transitions of physical growth generally occur
- From childhood to adulthood
- From adulthood to couple and familyhood
- From couplehood to mature adulthood
- After the loss of a pack or family member
In the transition from childhood to adulthood . . .
You may see a trend where psychic abilities that were strong from ages 5-15, begin to wean around ages 16-21, only to return to the psychic gifts in the early to late 20s.
Moving away from the nest, becoming an adult, and finding out who you are as a person are all valuable lessons you need to be fully present for in order to grow and develop as a soul.
Just because you may be experiencing a time period where your intuitive abilities feel like they wane, it does not mean you aren’t growing spiritually in a major way. This is actually the main reason why gifts feel like they fade - so you can be fully present to grow.
The childhood to adulthood transition is just one major life shift.
Most people experience 7-8 major periods of physical world growth (life shifts) during their lifetime.
During a huge physical growth period, psychic and spiritual experiences can feel like they fade to the backdrop so that you can be fully present in the moment.
In the present moment is where most spiritual wisdom is learned, wisdom that can be later shared with others when your intuitive abilities do regain their full strength.
It is very rare that intuitive gifts are lost forever to never return.

Have just experienced a major loss
Are currently experiencing a major physical world transition - a move, a break-up, a career change
Have been going hard at the spiritual/psychic growth
It’s normal to expect a natural wax and wane in your intuitive gifts.
Don’t worry! The longest an intuitive downtime period lasts around 5-6 years. The shortest is 3-6 months.
The average? 2 years.
During this time, most people actually are using their gifts as they are building their lives, using their crown and third eye chakras to build their dreams, realities and visions in real time.
So even if you aren’t seeing apparitions, this doesn’t mean your chakras aren’t being used for something and that you can’t intentionally call in and up your gifts when needed.
