Sylvia Browne is a world renowned psychic that lived on Earth from 1936 - 2013. She was an epic author and published more than 45 books in her lifetime and I have read over 40 of them.

For the majority of the time as I was collecting her books, no one cared at all, until 2020 hit and the internet began buzzing with the Coronavirus prediction in her book Prophecy, which was just sitting on my shelf barely touched.

I ran to the book to find out if the memes were true and sure enough on Page 214 an airborne illness requiring us all to wear masks in the year 2020 is listed.

Curious, I decided to sit down with this book and look to see if any other 2020 predictions were found inside.

To my delight, there were several that could be applied to 2020. I thought you might find them of interest, so I’ll be mentioning them below.

This book starts with an in depth background of famous prophets throughout history, including George Washington and Martin Luther King Jr.

It also discusses each main world religion’s stance on prophets.

It then goes into her philosophy on where prophecies originate and how psychics across the globe, never talking to one another, can see the same things in their visions.

Inside the book, she suggests that prophetic information comes from a cosmic mass of energy, called the Akashic Records, to which we all have access through Astral Travel.

Inside the Akashic Records, the future is known to all of us.

In a recent study, neuroscientist Julia Mossbridge confirms with her research that the human body can predict anticipatory events.

Though no mention of Astral Travel is made in Mossbridge’s research, psychics present the idea that you can project your soul outside of your body in your sleeping state, in a process called Astral Travel.

It is said in my field that this is how the body knows of future events.

Astral Travel is the same concept described as a potential theory for Edgar Cayce, and how he received many of his sleeping prophecies, often at great distances from his clients.

If you are at all curious about prophets in history or the psychic view of how future predictions are possible, perhaps to corroborate your own studies, this book is worth the read for that alone.

If you are curious about the predictions from current times into 2100, this book is also a great place to look.

Now, getting into 2020 matters.

  • Page 140: “The year 2020 will spark an amazing resurgence in the popularity of the barter system throughout the United States, with goods and services almost becoming a more common form of payment than cash as people try to regain their trust in the economy.”

  • Page 160: “Because in 2020, instead of classrooms, teachers will teach from several different education centers throughout the state, via computer… Not only will the students receive a hologram image of their teachers and teaching aids through these computers, but the teachers can access any of their students with a single keyboard stroke as well.”

  • Page 214: “By 2020 we’ll see more people than ever wearing surgical masks and rubber gloves in public, inspired by an outbreak of a severe pneumonia-like illness that attacks both the lungs and the bronchial tubes and is ruthlessly resistant to treatment.”

As for my take, I don’t know about you, but when money dried up for many businesses and creatives early on in the pandemic, trading goods and resources among family members was a great support.

The statement about teachers working through computers also makes total sense given the rise in virtual learning during 2020.

And the pneumonia-like illness resistant to treatment? It is the prophecy that most people attribute to Sylvia Browne posthumously predicting the Coronavirus Pandemic.

These are just a few of the statements she made where I was able to clearly drive a link with a current event to her prophecy.

Inside the book, there are many more of these, which date from 2-3 years after the book was published in 2004, all the way to the 2060s.

Needless to say, I’ll continue to keep a copy of Prophecy: What the Future Holds for You on my shelf from now on, just in case something else comes to be and I want to reference it.

If you want to keep abreast of Browne’s still upcoming predictions, having a copy of this would be a good idea for your bookshelf, too.
