Important Letter from the Vatican Regarding Its New Stance On Spiritual Gifts -

New release from the Church welcomes parishioners with gifts such as miracles, prophecy, and discernment, and urges others to do the same. 

On May 16, 2016, the Vatican released a letter that started to change how our profession has publicly shifted in perception over the past several years.

From the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, a document called The Church Rejuvenates or Iuvenescit Ecclesia was released. 

This letter, intended for the Church's Bishops to read, discusses the Church's relationship between the hierarchical doctrine of the Church and the charismatic gifts of its members concerning the mission and continued life of the Church.

Charismatic gifts in biblical literature are known as spiritual gifts in metaphysical literature. 

The Charismatic Gifts, also known as the Spiritual Gifts, includes these spiritual abilities:

• The word of wisdom

• The word of knowledge

• Increased faith

• The gift of healing

• The gift of miracles

• The gift of prophecy

• The discernment of Spirits

• Diverse kinds of tongues

• Interpretation of tongues

Mediumship is technically the discernment of Spirit and Shamanism, increased faith, channeling, the Interpretation of Tongues, and so on. 

While this is not a complete list, it is important to note: 

In previous times, many hundreds of thousands of people were persecuted for these gifts by Catholic and Christian leaders, but no more.

The Vatican now urges its members to accept and welcome with loving arms other members of its congregation who express such gifts. This is a significant turnaround because it's something that some laypeople and their families have been waiting to see for 400-600 years. 

Many people fear to open their spiritual gifts due to persecution from religious leaders. This letter breathes the fresh air of relief on all of that. 

In the letter, the Church further goes on to say that being in one or more of these professions can lead to such gifts:

• An apostle

• A prophet

• A teacher

• Someone who helps and service people

• A government (or those in leadership ability)

So if you are in one of these professions, take note. 

You're predisposed to have spiritual gifts, also known as charismatic gifts. 

Symbolically speaking, this letter being released in May matters. The charismatic gifts were first reported in the context of Christianity on the Day of Pentecost, about seven weeks after Easter Sunday. 

Usually, the Pentecost is at the end of May. 

It is the same season of this day, some 2,000 years later, that the Catholic Church re-welcomes in these gifts from laypeople.

The Church's released letter on May 16, 2016, is essential and frees so many talented spiritual people of guilt and shame.  

What the new letter means to people with spiritual gifts: 

• The persecution of those with spiritual gifts within the context of the Church and its tenants is over

• The restriction of spiritual gifts to members of higher-order only has been now released, as they validate that all people can express gifts of the Holy Spirit

• Lay people, members, in the context of the Church are now encouraged and supported to express their gifts more than ever before in history

• More and more people are going to feel comfortable coming forward with their gifts and release their shame of using or having them

• Spiritual liberation

Most importantly, this letter means you no longer have to be afraid of social persecution or religious exile from the Church.

The Vatican urges parishioners to welcome those embodying the presence of the Holy Spirit. 

Aside from a few small caveats in the letter, for example, you have to have church membership to have spiritual gifts, this release is such great news for all. Especially for those in Catholic families.

The letter explains it is vital for the Church to support those with charismatic gifts. For the evolution of the Church and all. 

Here are some quotes from the letter:

"Happily the awareness has grown of the multiform action of the Holy Spirit in the Church, thus arousing a particular attentiveness to the charismatic gifts by which at all times the People of God are enriched in order to carry out their mission."

"1 Cor 12:7 Paul declares that, to each individual, the manifestation of the spirit is given for some benefit."

"Mary, recognized as the Mother of the Church, and we, full of confidence have recourse to her that, through her efficacious help and powerful intercession, the charisms are abundantly bestowed by the Holy Spirit among the faithful, and may they be received with docility and bear the fruit of life and mission of the Church and for the good of the world."

This letter is a breakthrough letter to the metaphysical community, as it was previously something that people have been persecuted for, for centuries.
